Privileged location; modern equipment; highly automated production process, focused on safety in the workplace.
Located in Uberaba, in the Triângulo Mineiro, our factory is built in an area of approximately 40 thousand square meters and has a production capacity of more than 120 million liters/kg per year. We are based in an industrial district which is considered a “chemical belt”, allowing for the existence of residences in a radius of 25 kilometers of the municipality, thereby mitigating the risks associated with the operation. The region is also a door of access to the Brazilian Cerrado, where Brazilian agriculture is currently expanding. A dry port also operates in this area which provides facilities for customs services.
With modern equipment, the project was designed within the standards of “World Class Manufacturing” and allows us to obtain products on a commercial scale with perfect similarity to those obtained and tested in the laboratory. Its master plan was also made to allow extensions and implementations of new technologies with low impact on the work routine. An example of this is the expansion carried out in 2017 with the plant of dispersible granules for herbicides, construction work which was performed with no impact on the work routine.
We seek to maintain investments for the development and improvement of our structure, after all, we see in agriculture the future of Brazil. In this line, we count on an industrial plant composed by two independent facilities, being one for the production of herbicides and another for fungicides, insecticides, adhesive spreaders and mineral oil, which avoids the risk of cross-contamination. The production process is highly automated, focused on work safety, quality of processes, employees’ health and care for the environment.
Between 2015 and 2016, approximately BLR 43 million were invested in the factories aiming to increase the operations and production capacity. One of the areas that received investments was the formulation unit dedicated to concentrated suspensions, which has expanded its capacity from 40 thousand liters/day to 100 thousand liters/day with the aim to meet internal demand and increase the productive capacity of the company and third parties.
In 2017, our efforts were set in the plant of dispersible granules for herbicides. The technology applied is the most modern and efficient on the market of pesticides and provides gains in the process of formulation and in the reduction of operational exposure in the handling of the product, as well as aiming not to pollute the environment.
Another investment was the increase of energy generation capacity. With the use of BLR 2 million, the new generators have the capacity to produce 2,000 KW, ensuring electricity supply in peak times and plant operation during the shortage of supply.
In order to build a strong future within the market of agricultural pesticides and receive the new products with organization of demand, we count on last generation equipment in our laboratories and with a qualified team to develop innovative formulations which are adapted to agriculture in the country. We also operate strongly on quality control to ensure that our products leave the factory with the desired designed characteristics.
Due to the degree of market requirements of pesticides, it is necessary to have constant and efficient control that encompasses all the legal requirements, best practices which are required by our customers, suppliers, partners, government and its organs and other interested parties.
In order to organize all of the requirements and needs of the market, we have an integrated management system (IMS) which encompasses the aspects of quality, health, safety and environment. The IMS formalizes through a specific procedure all of the practices of our company and directs the processes in order to mitigate the risks involved in the operation as a whole.
This careful attitude, studies and responsibility with Brazilian agriculture have brought us important certifications in manufacturing practices (ISO 9001), environmental management (ISO 14001) and health and safety in the workplace (OHSAS 18001).
