Mode and mechanism of action<\/h2>\n

[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]LOOKED \u00ae is an insecticide composed of a mixture of acephate and bifenthrin. The mode of action of acephate is related to the inhibition of acetylcholinesterase (AChE), which normally degrades the neurotransmitter acetylcholine (ACh), leading to an accumulation of acetylcholine in the synapse, causing hyperexcitability, continuous and uncontrolled transmission of nerve impulses, resulting in muscle paralysis, preventing respiration and causing death due to oxygen deprivation in the brain. It is an insecticide from the organophosphate chemical group. Meanwhile, bifenthrin is a broad-spectrum pyrethroid insecticide and acaricide that modulates sodium channels by reducing and delaying sodium conductance into the cell and suppressing potassium efflux. It may also inhibit adenosine triphosphatase (ATPase), affecting cation conduction in the axonal membrane.
