We have deep experience in agribusiness and bring in our DNA the innovative spirit of our founders.

Our institutional purpose is to reimagine Brazilian agriculture, developing technologies and solutions which are adapted to the characteristics of tropical agriculture.

Our history

1987

Norival and Jardel start their journey in agribusiness with a veterinary products distributor business. In the same year, the company launched its first product in the market, destined to the poultry market. Currently, over 100 products make up the company’s portfolio, for cattle, horses, poultry, swine and pets.

1997

The department of Research, development, and Innovation (RD&I) is created, raising the level of the products of Ourofino Saúde Animal, which brought support and know how to future businesses.

2004

The founding partner and president Norival Bonamichi, receives in Monte Carlo, in the Principality of Monaco, the prize Master of Business for Entrepreneur of the year, from Ernest & Young, making Ourofino Saúde Animal the first to receive the prize in Brazilian agribusiness.

2005

The growth of the veterinary company demanded a new space, projected, and built in Cravinhos – SP. The industry was planned to serve the most rigorous demands of international and Brazilian markets.

2009

Started in 2007, the construction of one of the most modern factories of crop protection products in the world, is finished, designed withing the standards of World Class Manufacturing, a model of production which advocates among other differentials the efficiency of equipment, reduction of losses and the increase of productivity.

2009

End of the construction of the facility which is currently a global reference in the sector.

2010

On august 19th, we entered for once and for all the crop protection market with the production of Eleve, a protector fungicide which inaugurated the portfolio of solutions of Ourofino Agrociência for large crops as soy, corn and cotton.

2012

The experimental station in Guatapará (SP) is set up, the RD&I department, responsible for bringing innovative solutions for the portfolio of products and services is created.

2012

We inaugurated in Shangai, China, an office with specialists who are responsible for strengthening the relationship with suppliers and guarantee, in loco, the quality of raw materials.

2016

Our rapid growth has made it necessary to build new warehouses. Besides, a dispersible granule plant (WDG) for herbicides was inaugurated.

2017

With the purpose of reimagining Brazilian Agriculture, we have the commitment to inspire a new era of development, productivity and growth, creating new possibilities for the challenges of Brazilian agriculture.

2019

Announcement of the strategic partnership with Japanese companies Mitsui and ISK strengthening the search for solutions that are adapted for tropical agriculture.

2020

After the inauguration of our administrative headquarters in Ribeirao Preto/SP, in the beginning of 2020, we took an important step forward: we entered the market of patents. Now, besides developing solutions that are adapted to Brazilian agriculture, we started to offer more options to the grower, strengthening national agriculture even more.
